Saif Ali Khan is all set to step into an exciting new cinematic territory as he joins hands with acclaimed filmmaker Priyadarshan for the very first time. Known for iconic franchises like Hera Pheri and Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Priyadarshan brings his storytelling prowess to this much-anticipated collaboration with Saif, marking a significant moment in both their careers. Despite spending over two decades in the film industry, this will be their first project together.
Confirming the development in a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Saif revealed, “Yes, I am doing a film with Priyadarshan next. I play a blind guy. Very exciting.” The film will be the official Hindi remake of the Malayalam thriller Oppam, originally headlined by superstar Mohanlal. In this adaptation, Saif will take on the challenging role of a visually impaired protagonist, promising a performance that is expected to be both nuanced and powerful.
Rumours also suggest that Bobby Deol is in talks to portray the film’s primary antagonist, adding another layer of intrigue to the casting. With a strong narrative base and a stellar team coming together, the project is already generating buzz in the industry. As anticipation builds, audiences await a gripping cinematic experience that blends suspense, emotion, and standout performances.
